Jackson, Wyoming is the cultural hub of Teton County

Often mistakenly referred to as Jackson Hole, Jackson is one of five towns within the Jackson Hole region. The other towns are Wilson, Teton Village (Home of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort), Moose and Moran.

The population of Jackson remains just over 10,000. The elevation is 6,234 feet. The main industries are: Arts, entertainment, recreation, accommodation and food services (24.4%), Construction (14.0%), Retail trade (12.8%), Educational, health and social services (12.2%).

Jackson is home to fantastic restaurants, boutique western shops and galleries, theaters, famous old bars, and Snow King Mountain Resort. Large arches of shed elk antlers welcome visitors to enter from each corner of the town square.

Three million tourists drive through Jackson each year on the way to nearby Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and the National Elk Refuge.
